Processed quite differently from other variants, this IR 64 Par Boiled Rice is a good source of calcium, fiber, vitamin B-6 and potassium. The process for parboiled rice starts before the removal of its hull. It starts with soaking of complete grain which is then steamed and dried and finally then the hull is removed to make parboiled rice. Less sticky, these rice grains do not cause a large spike in blood sugar. IR 64 Par Boiled Rice is safely packed to retain its freshness.
